A&A Apostolides has been building in Cyprus since 1987. The company was founded by two brothers, Apostolos and Andreas Apostolides, and has carried their name ever since — one name, one legal entity, unchanged through two generations.

Today it operates as two wings under that name: Contractors, building for the state, and Developers, building homes since 1992. In 2006 the company reached Class A, the highest qualification a contractor can hold in Cyprus.

What the state trusts.

Among what the state has entrusted to us: the intensive care wing of Nicosia General Hospital, delivered in twenty-five days during the pandemic. The Ayios Lazaros primary school in Larnaca. The renovation of the Cyprus embassies in Paris and Brussels. The upgrade of the Spyros Kyprianou Stadium, ready for EuroBasket 2025 ahead of schedule.

Engineering deals with two kinds of risk. The visible kind — wind load, seismics, thermal movement — is accounted for by code. The hidden kind surfaces years later: design error, haste, a broken sequence of work. None of it shows from the outside.

We have our own resources for this: our own crews, our own engineers, our own machinery. This is what makes control over every stage of the build possible — not on paper, but on site, daily. ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, with full compliance with Eurocodes, turn that control into a system designed to prevent problems.

This is why our projects are handed over on the dates agreed in the contract.
